ok.. just so everyone knows...

As people who know me will attest to, buying big things spontaneously is sort of par for the course with me. I usually don't spend any money besides going out to eat for months at a time and I rarely splurge on things. But when I do go shopping, I think big. This time I got a house at a foreclose auction held on the steps of the courthouse. The auction itself felt more like a casual discussion outside and lasted about 2 minutes; the real fun didn't begin until I took some time to actually break into my new residence. There I discovered the previous owner (who, alas, died of lung cancer with no heirs and a house to pay off) was a big fan of the naked ladies. Yes in addition to the house I got the contents of the house, that is made of: 1/3 model airplanes, 1/3 country singer paraphernalia and 1/3 porn. The latter third is really the most noticeable one by far. This guy apparently collected it from all eras and in all forms, from magazines, to videos to tiny German sculptures.. It's quite a site to behold. I've spent the better part of a week with scimiotix cleaning it (a cat had fully befouled the whole house) and sorting through the trash and the treasure. There's still a lot to do but it is at least entertaining.

Although you wouldn't know it if you saw it.. I think I need to turn off my instant messaging and start putting my thoughts into my journal instead of spraying tid-bits at random friends. This is at least more epistlic.. I've been pulled in so many different directions lately, I feel as though my thoughts are becoming disjointed. I don't think it's from being busy so much as over-analytical.
Scimiotix and I did just get a run-down house that we have to fix up and hopefully that will be the catharsis of destruction and rebuilding that I so look forward to.

More on this later, I'm still at work so I'll finish up here and perhaps write something less terse afterwords.

apparentlynot responding promptly to people who post ranks me up there with hitler and the guy that shot Bambi's mom.. I apologize for this, I've been in a work hole that makes me want to type on a computer about as much as I want gargle molten metal.
ok ok that's a lie, I still play on the computer I've just been lazy. As anyone who could have come to this blog will know from scimiotix, I just got a new car after misplacing my old one into a guard rail. Maybe spending more on a car will make me keep more care of it. Although I expect the novelty of it to wear off in a few days. I'm one of those people who shouldn't be allowed to have nice things. it's a wonder the previously mentioned angel even tolerates me after I've mistreated her apartment so.

Anyway, thanks to any and all that have visited, hopefully I'll start posting real things that actually happen, or even redeem myself by answering the few charitable souls that have read my drivel. Later!
